Team India continued their dominant run in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023, crushing England by a massive 100 runs in Lucknow on Sunday. The victory marked India's sixth consecutive win in the tournament, extending their unbeaten streak.
Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah spearheaded India's bowling attack, sharing nine wickets between them to dismantle the English batting lineup. Shami picked up 4/42, while Bumrah claimed 5/38, including a devastating hat-trick.
Earlier, India posted a competitive 338/6, thanks to a century from Rohit Sharma and a half-century from Virat Kohli. Sharma struck 125 off 113 balls, while Kohli contributed 73 off 80 deliveries.
